I will be honest, my first feeling was pure disbelief. Under 17 minutes? It genuinely felt like he had looked straight through the brass and seen every stage laid out in front of him. X-ray vision was the only explanation my brain could offer in the moment.
Then it settled, and I realised something better. This was the highest compliment the Loki could receive.
A solver of his caliber did not breeze through it on instinct. He had to focus, work through it, and bring real skill to bear. He earned it. And that is exactly what tells me the puzzle is doing its job. The Loki is not a gimmick and not a toy. It is a real puzzle that made the best in the world concentrate.
