Does the lock require force to solve?
Puzzlocks is all about going through an intellectual journey. Absolutely no force is needed to solve the puzzle.
Can I use external tools to solve the puzzle?
No. Everything you need to solve the puzzle is included in the package.
I have tried so many times to solve the puzzle and I am not succeeding! I feel like I need help to solve it. What should I do?
We believe in you! The puzzle is tricky, and it requires dedicating time and a lot of thought to succeed. However, if you feel like you must get help, there are clues all over YouTube.

Can a child solve a puzzle lock?
The recommended age to begin solving is from 13 and older.
However, if anyone thinks they are up for the challenge, go for it! You may want to consider starting with a beginner’s puzzle and then move your way up to a more challenging puzzle.
Can I use a lock puzzle as a standard day-to-day lock?
Although possible, it’s not recommended. Puzzlocks are less secure than a standard lock.
How long does it take to solve?
This is unique to every person! The time it takes to solve the puzzle is up to your dedication, thought process, and experience.
What is the lifespan of the puzzle lock?
Our very first puzzles were built in the 1990’s and they are still alive and working perfectly. You may be able to pass your puzzle on to the next generation... and the next... and the next.
Are there different levels of puzzles?
Absolutely! Each model has its own unique mechanism and difficulty level.
How can I best take care of my Puzzlocks?
The locks are made of brass and stainless steel, meaning they oxidize over time. To best take care of the puzzle, it is recommended to place it in a plastic bag at the end of each use.
