Brass naturally develops tarnish over time, causing your puzzle locks to lose their golden glow. This easy-to-use cleaning kit is designed to bring them back to life, removing tarnish and reviving the rich shine of the brass without harming the mechanism.

Whether you want to keep your collection pristine or refresh a favorite lock that’s been well played, this kit is the perfect way to maintain both the beauty and character of your puzzles.

What’s in the box:

• Peek paste – premium polish for metals, exceptionally effective on brass.
• Protective nitrile gloves – keep your hands clean while polishing. 2 large - blue. 2 extra large - black.
• Cleaning cloth wipes - soft, single-use for a shiny finish. 10 pieces.
• Protective sticker for the keyhole – prevents polish from entering the mechanism. 6 small, 6 large.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Seal the keyhole with the protective sticker to prevent paste from entering the lock’s mechanism. Choose the sticker that fits your lock type (large or small).
2. Protect your hands by putting on the included nitrile gloves before you begin.
3. Apply the paste sparingly to the lock’s surface. Use the cleaning cloth to spread it evenly.
4. Polish the lock by scrubbing back and forth and in circles. The cloth will darken as it lifts tarnish - this is normal. Continue scrubbing, replacing the cloth with a fresh one as needed, until the lock shines and the cloth no longer picks up residue. Repeat for all surfaces.
5. Remove the protective sticker from the keyhole once cleaning is complete.
6. Optional: Stainless steel or hardened shackles typically do not require cleaning, but you may polish them if you wish.
